Iesoun is the Genitive Case in Greek of the name IESOUS, and so means 'Of Jesus'.
Correct Transliteration - but not the correct translation: Numbers 13:16 These are the names of the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land; and Moses called Ause the son of Naue, Joshua.
BUT KJV: Numbers 13:16 These are the names of the men which Moses sent to spy out the land. And Moses called Oshea the son of Nun Jehoshua.
Just see how the Greek Septuagint changes IESOUN (JESUS) to JOSHUA, and then Ause is changed to Oshea making him sound more Irish than Egyptian.
Since all biblical origins were in Ancient Egypt, then Ause has to be Uasar – the Greek Osiris:
The name IESOUS, i.e. JESUS, appears in Exodus as well as in Numbers and above all The Book of Jesus (deliberately mistranslated as The Book of Joshua!!!)

Just in case anyone still has any doubts about the mistranslation here is a verse from the Greek Stephanos Bible:
Transliterated:
iakôb de egennêsen ton iôsêph ton andra marias ex ês egennêthê iêsous o legomenos Christos
and again from the Old Testament:
