Welcome to Bible Origins in Egypt. Here I shall set out the truth behind the Bible and how it all came about.
It has been hidden from the World for two thousand years and the real facts only began to emerge once Champolion and others managed to decipher Egyptian Hieroglyphs from Tomb, Temple and Papyrii Texts.
It is a wonderful history and as we go through the evidence we'll see how everything was copied and plagiarised from the ancient beliefs.
The real credit for these discoveries really belongs to the Egyptologist Sir Wallis Budge and then Gerald Massey. They lived in the Victorian World when the power of the Church could still have any questioner imprisoned, even tortured. Nevertheless Massey was brave enough to publish his findings in 1907.
Since then other researchers have added to the finds and our knowledge of what really happened and who the Bible characters were. They are now many in number but include dedicated writers who such as historian Ahmed Osman, Ralph Ellis, Acharya and Robert Feather. I do not accept all of their conclusions partly because I have myself found conflicting evidence.
It is therefore important that one always checks every source for themselves wherever possible. It was to that end that I learned Egyptian.
The Image for this thread is the painting of The Holy Trinity in the tomb of King David V of Egypt, better known today as King Twt, a name which is DWD in Hebrew and David in English.
The figure in white linen is the God Uasar who became Osiris to the Greeks. He was the Father. Next we see the Son, the departed King, who was both Hor and Iosa, which means The Ever Coming Son. Iosa is still the same name in Scots Gaelic for Jesus, changed to Iesous by the Greeks. He is being introduced to his Father by their common Ka or Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit carries an Ankh, the Cross of Life in one hand for the Son's travel through the Duat before ascending to his home in the Stars. The Father Osiris or Al-Osiris or Lazarus to the Arabs is then resurrected as the new Iosa or Jesus to become the next King of Egypt. In this way Iosa/Jesus raised his Father Lazarus from the dead.
